IT Release Management Tech Lead
Role Purpose
- Responsible for all release management activities across the IT department ensuring processes and automations are in place to ensure operations stability and no conflict between different releases.
- Defining the IT strategic direction for release management tools for IT to ensure the process requirements of release management are built in.
- Communicate with Agile teams/scrum masters on a daily basis to define and plan releases.
- Technical assessment to releases across IT to ensure no conflicting deployments that would impact operational stability
- Post production accountability for releases through monitoring tools and defined KPIs.
- Accountable for all the agile release planning, assessment and prioritization across the IT domain.
Responsibilities
• Operational stability with zero impact for all planned releases.
• All deployments are abiding with release management processes
• Monitoring KPIs for production releases are in place and effective in detecting any instability after releasing.
Qualifications and Core Competencies
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Superior Technical skills in different IT domains.
• Expertise in IT domains with hands on experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to embrace and foster change.
• Passion for the customer.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, pro-active approach to problem identification and solving.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Communication
• 5+ Years’ Experience in Telecommunications Market
• Manage and Coach diversified team in a changing environment
