Role Purpose

The Mediation and Revenue Assurance Planning Tech Lead is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mediation systems that ensure accurate data processing for billing and revenue assurance. This role requires a deep understanding of programming languages, operating systems, and database management. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, optimize system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical and business requirements , ensure operational KPIs are met and system efficiency is maximized.

Role Profile

•    Technical Leadership: Lead the technical planning, design, and execution of mediation and revenue assurance systems.
•    System Development: Utilize programming languages like Java, C#, and Python to develop, optimize, and maintain software applications.
•    Platform Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Ericsson Mediation platform to enhance system performance and integrate new features.
•    Analysis & Design: Conduct comprehensive analysis and design of systems to meet business and technical requirements.
•    Software Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial planning through deployment and maintenance.
•    Linux Proficiency: Apply strong Linux skills for system administration, scripting, and automation tasks.
•    Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
•    Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of system designs, procedures and performance metrics.
•    Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, software developers, and business analysts, to align technical solutions with business objectives.
•    Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster growth and development.
 

Core Competencies and Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:
•    Proficiency in  Java ,C#, Python for system development.
•    Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including scripting and system administration.
•    Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) practices and methodologies.
•    Expertise in system analysis and design.
•    Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
•    Previous experience working with the Ericsson Mediation platform is highly desirable.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Educational Requirements:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  •  Advanced certifications in relevant technologies and platforms are a plus.
  • 5+ Years of experience
