Role Purpose

A Senior Flutter Engineer is responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and performant cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.

Role Responsibilities

  • App Development: Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using Flutter and Dart, ensuring consistency and performance across Android and iOS.
  • Architecture & Design: Define and evolve application architecture (e.g., BLoC, Provider, Riverpod, Clean Architecture) to support scalability, modularity, and maintainability.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to transform business and design requirements into efficient, user-friendly mobile interfaces.
  • Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize app startup time, rendering performance, and memory usage to deliver a smooth experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement unit, widget, and integration testing to ensure app stability and reliability

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Technical expertise in Flutter and the Dart ecosystem, a solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns.

  • Passion for delivering seamless user experiences across Android and iOS
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the Flutter ecosystem, evaluate new libraries or frameworks, and advocate for best practices in mobile development

  • Must have technical/ professional qualifications:

    Deep knowledge of Dart, Flutter SDK, and platform channel integration with native Android/iOS
  • Experience implementing state management solutions such as BLoC, Provider, Riverpod, or GetX.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket integrations.
  • Proficient with Flutter navigation, animations, responsive UI, and adaptive layouts.
  • Familiarity with modular app structures, dependency injection, and code generation tools (e.g., build_runner, freezed).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
  • Knowledge of app store deployment (Google Play and App Store) and versioning best practices.
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
  • 3+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 2+ years using Flutter.
