Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do

 

As a Configuration Records Engineer supporting Scottish Power’s strategic telecommunications network across Scotland, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellence for our customer. You’ll ensure the accuracy and integrity of central records, topology diagrams, and network configuration data—maintaining the source of truth for SPEN’s network.
You will work closely with the project and senior engineers aligned to the account; providing professional administrative support across multiple contract activities. You’ll be responsible for timely updates to network diagrams and configuration changes, ensuring all documentation reflects the current state of the network.



Your day-to-day will include:

 

Maintaining and updating central records with meticulous attention to detail.

Translating engineering updates into accurate network topology diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

Collaborating with engineers to ensure documentation aligns with project milestones and technical changes.

Supporting planned activities throughout the year to help Vodafone and SPEN achieve their strategic goals.

Demonstrating a proactive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Who you are



Exceptional organisation skills

Excellent written and communication skills

Experience uisng Microsoft Visio - updating network diagrams would be preferable

Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Ability to work to the applicable quality standards.

Ability to understand network diagrams Attention to detail and accuracy

Any technical experience is an advantage

Must be eligible for SC Clearance
