What you’ll do

We are seeking a Release & Environment Expert located in Ankara with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for the Release and Test Environment Management.


• Managing software releases from development stage to production with defining requirements, schedules and timelines within the project lifecycle and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
• Define delivery strategies, process and methodologies and initiate technology projects such as tools, automation and DevOps practices to increase the efficiency and time to market.
• Providing technical solutions to problems at the application layer. Working closely with development and solution teams and ensuring risks are managed.
• Conduct Release Readiness, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go meetings
• Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
• Deliver & manage all the non-production environments infrastructure, applications and integrations for IT project delivery
• Ability to provide technical support, plan and produce solutions as a service owner and reliability engineer. Management experience in documenting and transferring solutions and determining RCAs.
• Measure & monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time & within quality.
• Comply with Audits for Regulation and security standarts , ISO, BCM, SOX etc
• Integration and operation of test systems for new Digital functionalities
• Manage Patching, Versioning , Decommissioning of Test infrastructure and applications

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT applications operations, infrastructure and delivery.
• Effective leadership and analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and technologies
• Solid understanding of project management principles
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional work teams and MSPs
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with aggressive deadlines.
• SDLC, ITIL knowledge and certification is a plus
• Unix, Linux, Shellscripting, SQL/PLSQL knowledge is a plus
• Middleware tools knowledge is a big plus such as Tibco/osm .
• Development skills, bitbucket, jenkins and Nexus knowledge is a plus
• Comfortable with flexible working hours
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Hybrit working type.
