What you’ll do

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you’ll be integrated in the Portugal Cyber Prevent Team and be responsible for leading activities in three main areas: Identity & Access Management, Cyber Security Projects and Security Tools and Information Services. You will align day to day activities in those areas with global cyber security Policies, Controls and Projects with focus on risk reduction delivery and with local market business and technology priorities.

  • You will be responsible to ensure that security controls are effectively implemented, that all processes to support the controls are in place and will support the global cyber security strategy as well as the local technology strategy implementations. The primary role is to make sure the cyber security controls are effectively implemented in the local market contributing for cyber risk to be managed within tolerance; 
  • You  will report to the Head of Cyber Security in Portugal and be an active part in the local market Cyber leadership team. You will also have an active role to support and provide services in collaboration with the local Digital & IT, Network;
  • You will also be responsible for efficient collaboration with local structures such as Corporate Security, Privacy, Legal, VBU, among others.

Who you are

  • Bachelor or Master in Technology Security or relevant experience in the same area;
  • Experience in managing complex Cyber Security Projects;
  • Experience in risk management;
  • Deep knowledge of Cyber Security threats and capability to assess business impact;
  • Strong Focus on delivery of security projects contributing for control effectiveness;
  • Manage Cyber Security Risk in line with Vodafone and local market tolerance;
  • Understand local security laws and regulations to make sure they are embedded into policy and controls;
  • Build strong and effective relationships with Cyber team members, local and global and with other technology and business stakeholders;
  • Fluency in the English language.
