We are seeking a Digital Architect Lead to provide strategic direction and oversee high-level system architecture for the L2 Operation and Platforms team within Digital and Zero Touch Operations (ZTO). This role is pivotal in ensuring technology solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organisational goals. You will lead innovation initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and foster architectural excellence across the organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Define and maintain high-level system architecture for Digital and ZTO Team – L2 Ops and Platforms Area.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and development teams to ensure alignment with architectural principles.
  • Lead evaluations of emerging technologies and their impact on organisational architecture.
  • Drive innovation initiatives that enhance architectural integrity and strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance on architectural decisions ensuring consistency, scalability, and security.
  • Conduct regular architectural reviews and audits.
  • Mentor and coach Solution Architects and development teams on best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in system architecture and technology.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a System Architect or similar role designing complex, scalable systems.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and principles.
  • Proficiency in system and software architecture tools and technologies.
  • Solid technical background in coding and IT architectures.
  • Experience with agile product development practices.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills with confidence in senior-level interactions.
