What you’ll do
Role Overview
Vodafone Portugal is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Head of AI to lead the company’s Artificial Intelligence strategy and adoption journey. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling AI initiatives that drive business growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and innovation across the organization.

- Tangible improvements in customer experience, productivity, and business performance.
- A scalable AI operating model with strong governance and adoption across Vodafone Portugal.
Who you are
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute Vodafone Portugal’s AI strategy and roadmap.
- Lead the AI portfolio, prioritizing high-value use cases across all business areas.
- Establish AI governance, ensuring compliance, security, and responsible AI adoption.
- Build and lead an AI Centre of Excellence, fostering AI capabilities and talent development.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to accelerate AI-driven transformation.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and manage strategic partnerships.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in AI, Data, Technology, or Digital Transformation.
- Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Platforms, and Cloud technologies.
- Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs and measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Telecom industry experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English language.
