What you’ll do
- Senior IP Network Engineer able to drive complex SECGW and Backhaul projects without impacts as well as SW and HW changes without disruptions to the business
- Preventive and Corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality and continuity of service for IP Network Elements
- Perform network and service configuration, software rollout and support integration activities with Planning, Design and Delivery teams
- Provide Troubleshooting, Analysis & Problem solution for critical situations
- Implement preventive software correction packages on nodes to solve network problems
- Participate in Acceptance & Testing of new nodes, systems, features & services
- Implement software & hardware system upgrades and updates
- Provides technical input for Network Automation
- Provides technical inputs for Self-Healing techniques
Who you are
- Bachelor or Master's degree on Engineering or Computer Science
- Cisco Certification CCNP (plus)
- Experience on IP/MPLS networks with strong understanding of networking protocols, including ISIS, BGP, MPLS, QoS, MPLS/SR-TE, L2VPN/L3VPN/EVPN (min 5y)
- Knowledge in the Installation and Configuration of IP network Elements (Routers, Switches, MBH, SecGW, …) with more evidence in SecGW and Backhaul network, that are playing a capital role in the Operations IP Access cluster
- 5 Years of experience in Juniper SECGW and Cisco Backhaul networks
- Automation & Scripting Tools developing experience is a plus
- Software Engineering knowledge (e.g. Python, SW Frameworks, REST API, CNC, and other)
- Project Management
- English language (spoken and written)
