What you’ll do
Role Profile: To play a defining role within the Networks Demand, Governance and Harmonization team accountable for managing demand coming into VF Networks Front Door. This role is also accountable for managing all Networks Governance processes within the local market and ensuring all governance processes and decisions are recorded accurately with the appropriate, documented sign-off. This includes the management of; Budget Mobilisation, In-Year Plan Change Control and Market Interlock. Close cooperation with the local planning teams in support of annual budget activities will also be required.
You will be single SPOC to lead all VF Networks Demands and will be responsible of ensuring demands are handed over to respective delivery teams. You will work closely with various local market and group stakeholders to ensure demands are technically feasible, meet strategic alignment and budget requirements. You will also be responsible to provide a holistic Governance view of Demand Performance KPIs during the financial year.
This is a critical role that provides a consolidated view of all materials and information needed to enable the senior leadership team and sponsors to make informed, factual based decisions. The Country Demand & Governance Manager will document the outcome of these decisions and is accountable for ensuring any subsequent changes to the Network Plans are recorded accurately in the relevant documents and communicated to all stakeholders.
This role is also accountable for producing and communicating a wide range of reporting materials to ensure the senior leadership team and stakeholders are fully informed of Networks performance as a function through a series of specific metrics and KPIs.
Key Responsabilities:
- Demand Management: Effectively manage the demand, ensuring that VFs Demand KPIs are met or exceeded. Take ownership of demands from requirement definition, triage and handover to delivery teams. Own new requirements from VF business whilst working with internal and external stakeholders. Feedback of forecasted cost and delivery timescales to internal customers.
- Conflict Management: Fulfilling Priority and Conflict management with affected stakeholders whilst working proactively on agreed deliverables on behalf of Networks. Liaison with demand requestors during its life cycle and subsequent handover into delivery.
- Management of Networks Governance Processes: Ensure the effective running of the Networks Governance Framework, including the following key processes; Budget Mobilization, In-Year Plan Change Control, Market Interlock and monthly Operational Performance Review.
- Change Management: Ensure the effective running of the Networks Governance Processes and ensure that all decisions that have wider implications are escalated and dealt with at the appropriate level.
- Management of Networks Vital Few Metrics: Working closely with the owners of the performance data, ensure all vital few metrics data is up-to-date and collated on a monthly basis in preparation for the various governance boards.
Who you are
- University degree in Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Experience of data and transport network.
- Strong commercial management experience
- Excellent understanding of demand and resource management
- Ensure the data integrity of governance decisions, providing the “single version of the truth”
- Expert in preparation of reporting packs, delivering concise, accurate and easy to read documentation
- Experience of working cross-functionally to deliver feasibility study of proposals
- Highly analytical with excellent communication skills – able to communicate confidently and effectively; able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
