Field Service Expert
What's in it for you
The main purpose is to act as connection entity between FLM partners in charge of Networks Operations & Maintenance and Design & Delivery internal teams responsible for networks design.
In this role one has to be able to support and supervise FLM partners activities when required by Vodafone responsibilities or when required in order to assure networks and customer services quality. Also, in this role one must be involved in networks Design & Delivery projects in order to assure transfer of information and also to assure that once projects are concluded the impact on O&M will be reduced to the minimum.
What you’ll do
- Control of FLM contracts/activities execution.
- Decision about extra-contractual works including their value and need.
- Decision about purchase orders needed to support network operationality.
- Responsibility on making local visits and inspections plans.
- Responsibility about delivering and cooperating internally in projects undergoing.
- Interface with suppliers/partners for all function and network relevant issues
- Interface with other public or private entities regarding sites operational issues
- Coordination with Delivery teams in activities and projects that have a potential or real impact over networks performance.
Who you are
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, or alternatively, a high level of experience and knowledge about networks may be considered
- Experience in Vodafone networks, whether operational, projects or both
- Preferably experience in Transmission and Optical Fiber networks
- Vocation for field works and travel
- Experience in tools to support networks operation
- High level ability to work in team
