What you’ll do
- Developing the Quality Assurance Process of Home Devices and Customer Premises Equipement Devices (CPE) of different access technology, such as like DSL, GPON, DOCSIS and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), as well as added value home services integrated into the CPEs and an application to manage those
- Taking the role as Group Testing Manager to lead the alignment across different countries in order to ensure the quality of residential CPEs matching local markets needs, priorities, timelines and budget
- Determine the location strategy, allocate test effort to locations, labs, partners & internal resources according to priorities and clear cost-benefit analysis. Define group vs local integration & testing with opco network and IT/OSS systems as needed
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with the broader HT&P team for requirements clarification and test case harmonization
- Further development of partner and stakeholder management, who to work with and why, what should be outsourced and the performance evaluation of the providers and partners
- Identify dependencies between Applications, Services & CPEs as part of the Operating model. Understand the impact of Platform concept to Testing and device policies accordingly
- Collect several testing demand and translate it to actionable items and impact
- Drive Capacity & Budget planning in several cross-country projects and monitor closely the execution with customized monitoring and reporting
- Lead initiatives to minimize manual testing and expand automation coverage, ensuring high-quality test automation that prioritizes reliability, maintainability, and scalability
- Oversee the design, implementation, and execution of robust automated test cases
- Work closely with the Test Automation team to reduce manual testing efforts, enhance automation coverage, and ensure the maintenance of a scalable, high-quality testing ecosystem
- Ensure an ideal balance between cost, performance, and reliability for test automation across multiple markets, driving efficiency and consistency in testing processes
- Quality Assurance of the best residential CPE quality by always considering customer satisfaction
- Define CPE test strategy and test catalogue in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Reporting to the (upper) Management the CPE Quality Approval status
- Harmonize CPE, Services and App Testing processes for all CPE access technologies and all Opcos
- Provide expertise in test automation, ensuring the right processes, tools, and methodologies are used to optimize efficiency and coverage across markets
Who you are
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance projects and/or development of telecommunication gateways and network services
- Experienced in complex projects / programs and managing budget
- Experience in CPE products and advance service solutions, with particular focus on Wi-Fi topics
- Technical understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies
- Experience in managing testing for backend systems, mobile applications (iOS, Android), and ensuring seamless integration between APIs, mobile apps, and backend services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into DevOps workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge in developing and maintaining automation scripts to generate reports and support daily testing activities
- Fundamental understanding of general testing methods and processes
- Technological background in one of the following technologies: DSL/FTTx/FWA or DOCSIS/cable
- Conceptual & Analytical thinking
- Challenge given solutions and capitalize on innovation opportunities
- Stakeholder management capability
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a multi-country environment
- Knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr) and automation reporting
- Knowledge of open-source operating systems like OpenWRT, RDK-B, and prplOS used in embedded systems and CPE devices
- Experience with Broadband Forum standards, including TR-181, TR-069, and TR-369/USP for testing and managing CPE devices
