Integration Engineer
What's in it for you
As part of the VTV Integration & Development team, a System Integration Engineer is responsible for TV Backoffice (Backend), ensuring the integration with all the other vendors connected and managing complex project integration and troubleshooting, as well as maintenance and optimization of the corresponding components and process. Acting as 3rd line support for Engineering teams for any issue which occurs in production.
What you’ll do
- System integration and implementation in accordance to specifications;
- validation of e2e integration components;
- Strong analytical problem solving.
- Lead and coordination of tasks within integration cross-funtional teams, vendors and manage the deliverables;
- Support Product and validation requirements, ensuring quality on all deliverables;
- Successfully integrate new features according to the System Architecture guidelines;
- Ensure adequate system implementation in the accordance to product specification.
- Validation & Configuration Documentation;
- Provide adequate handover documentation per release as feature demo when needed.
- Continues improvement and automation of the integration processes;
- Establish effective/efficient work methodology and communication.
- Technical support;
- Support team members in technical areas and give them advice and guidance.
Who you are
- Post graduate in Computer Science Engineering qualifications or strong track record within this or similar role;
- Proven System Integration knowledge of TV & Video Services and deep knowledge of backend operations;
- Ability to coordinate E2E complex integration projects to deliver a product;
- Strong capability to understand and analyze E2E workflow processes between different interfaces;
- Knowledge of industrial broadcast standards for metadata processing;
- End to end functional validation;
- Technical understanding of Software development paradigms and Lifecycles;
- Knowledge on networking (TCP/IP principle and IP configuration on Windows/Linux OS);
- Knowledge of Operating Systems - VM environments, Networking, SQL Server, script languages (e.g. Python, Node, JavaScript or Bash), databases, web services, IDEs, Web Technologies, JSON, XML, AWS, SOAP and REST API;
- Familiar with Microservice architecture such as containerized setup Kubernetes, Dockers or similar;
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, DevOps best practices, Agile Frameworks (e.g. SAFe);
- Strong communication skills in direct stakeholder management with internal and external parties;
- English Language proficiency.
