TV Delivery Engineer

To carry out the project management and delivery of VTV solutions within the TV Europe Delivery Unit team as part of the Europe Network Engineering delivering culture.
What you’ll do
- Responsible of VTV project delivery in Vodafone, leading the VTV project delivery and planning for specific TV areas;
- Contact point and main interface to internal and external stakeholders, namely VF OpCos Marketing, VF Operations, IT, Engineering, TV development teams and external vendors (Nokia, Kaltura, Media Kind, Sagemcom, WizTivi, WIT, Tivo);
- TV Delivery engineer and project manager, having the full ownership in all interfaces with TED, TAD and other stakeholders, for the continuous life cycle management of TV platforms;
- Coordinate and vendor management in TV projects deployment in order to guarantee time to market and compliance to functional and non-functional requirements;
- Support the deliverables certification processes ensuring quality and excellence in delivery;
- Drive platforms and services evolution, seeking enhanced efficiency through harmonization & consolidation projects;
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly project status to Senior Vodafone stakeholders;
- Solution design & Implementation, including validation activities and post deployment support;
- Lifecycle and capacity management;
- Vendor Management at a project level.
Who you are
- Bachelor or Master in Engineering;
- Cross-functional and multi-cultural collaboration;

- Customer focus and orientation;
- Innovation driven;
- Knowledge of telecoms and video technologies, with strong skills on IPTV, DVB, cloud technologies and agile development methodologies;
- SAFe/Agile experience;
- Project management experience;
- >5 years professional experience;
- Portuguese/English Language proficiency.
