What you’ll do
To carry out the engineering and delivery of core TV platforms within the TV Engineering and Delivery (TED) team, integrated in the Network Strategy and Engineering vertical function delivering products to all European markets. This includes but not limited to:
- Drive the integration of platform and services as part of the VTV program across several markets
- Assure end-to-end configuration of TV features keeping configuration consistency across markets and environments
- Coordination and vendor management in the deployment of TV projects in order to guarantee time to market and compliance to functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyse technical documentation delivered by Architecture and Development teams and be able to assess if improvements are required to ensure the solutions delivered will work in a productive environment
- Support the deliverables certification processes and develop automated testing mechanisms, ensuring quality and excellence in delivery
- Support Operational teams in post-delivery period, including technical analysis of incidents, bugs or performance issues and help designing and delivering fixes
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders for the execution of the above mentioned activities.
Main Responsabilities:
- Solution design & implementation, including validation activities and post deployment support
- Lifecycle and capacity management
- Vendor Management at a project level
- End-to-end configuration management
Who you are
• Engineering Career degree
• High level of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of telecoms and video technologies, with skills on IPTV, DVB and OTT (preferable)
• Knowledge of API platforms integration
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, component integration, micro-services orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) and serverless solutions.
• AWS certification (preferable)
• Basic knowledge of Apigee (preferable)
• Understanding on agile development and delivery methodologies (preferable)
• Troubleshooting, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English
• Cross-functional and multi-cultural collaboration
