Role Title: Fixed Analytics Authority
Location: Any UK Hub & Hybrid *
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

Role Profile
To play a role within the Networks Quality UK team analysing Fixed network performance and benchmarking results. Working with internal engineering teams, Networks Strategy and Engineering functions and external stakeholders to deliver improvement plans and achieve best Fixed customer experience in UK. You will work with multiple cross functional teams to translate customer experience into actionable improvement opportunities.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Evaluate Fixed Customer Feedback, e.g. NPS surveys, and map drivers for customer dissatisfaction to network performance deficits
  • Analyse Fixed customer care complaint calls and tickets with regards to systematic technical problems
  • Find pro-actively new sources of customer insight and feedback 
  • Understand market specific Fixed customer usage behaviour trends and conduct tool-based data analysis on customer usage and behaviour trends for predictive failure detection and quality improvements
  • Drive Network Probing, collection and analysis of network performance data with regards to Fixed customer experience and satisfaction
     

Core Competencies, Knowledge & Experience

  • Highly analytical with excellent communication skills – able to communicate confidently and effectively; able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Good knowledge of the protocols in the area of DOCSIS, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, QoS and NAT
  • Experience and knowledge of the architecture of DSL and FTTP
  • Knowledge of VoIP, SIP protocol
  • Network management knowledge (SNMP, MIB)
  • Good knowledge of the Wi-Fi environment


Must have Technical / Professional Qualifications:

  • University honours degree (second class or better) in Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong Technical Expertise wrt Fixed Networks
