What you’ll do  


The UC & Network Specialist role is crucial for deploying, maintaining and enhancing network infrastructure on customer critical unified communications (UC) platforms. This role involves provisioning and supporting UC services across the customer estate as well as driving continuous improvement of processes.

 

• Provisioning a range of UC endpoints and associated network infrastructure at scale, providing remote support to field teams
• Produce and maintain Local Work Instruction (LWI) documentation and participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Driving automation for provisioning tasks on network and UC platforms
• Maintain up-to-date records of provisioning activities, configurations, and customer setups
• Collaborate with Service Desk, support teams and Vendors to resolve complex issues on Network and UC platforms

Who you are  

 

• Experience in delivery of network solutions supporting voice/video
• Experience writing technical documentation such as LWI’s.
• Demonstrable troubleshooting skills and approach to fault resolution
• Knowledge of network concepts that affect call quality, VoIP performance and Security (TCP, UDP, SIP, RTP ,QoS, 802.1x) 
• Experience working within a strict security framework.
• Can demonstrate working experience at a Cisco CCNA level in either Enterprise or Collaboration tracks
• Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of DV level security clearance
