The key purpose of the IoT Customer Solutions team in VBPS IoT Managed Connectivity is to ensure that we deliver value to customers faster whilst using our resources in the most effective way. The deployment architect role will work in the intersection of sales, technical pre-sales, solution architecture and engineering with a high degree of collaboration across the IoT Engineering teams in Managed Connectivity and Group Networks as well as Customer Delivery Teams in VBTS.

 

The Deployment Architect will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that custom customer requirements are clear and understood.
  • Establishes clear technical design for each customer request, performs engineering where required and manages the delivery of bespoke customers solutions in conjunction with IoT Line of Business, Vodafone Business and VBTS.
  • Takes end-to-end ownership of a diverse range of projects and initiatives, interfacing and influencing amongst Sales, Tech-PreSales, other engineering functions and VBTS.
  • Passionate about delivering a great customer experience by implementing bespoke Vodafone IoT Solutions globally
  • Work in close collaboration with solution trains in NPD and Transformation teams to understand feature roadmaps to suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Will analyse, configure and test complex customer or partner network integrations

What you Bring

  • 3+ Years of experience in, and knowledge of IT & telecoms services, applying this expertise in a customer-focused way.
  • Deep understanding of Telecommunication architecture (Packet & Circuit switched, IPv4/IPv6 routing, BGP, VPN, NNI, MPLS, VOLTE, 5G, LTE, HSS)
  • Experience and/or certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM master) advantageous for this role.
