What you’ll do
- Promote modern Engineering practices, tooling, and methodologies across platform engineering teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and evolving tech strategy.
- Define and promote the right ways of working, across engineering domains, cross engineering functions, other technology teams (Architecture, Technology Product, Delivery, Networks) and with business stakeholders.
- Support demand management & prioritization within Platform Engineering team.
- Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Ensure that IoT Platform keeps evolving to reduce run costs, becoming more efficient and productive
- Support the delivery of improvement programmes across the engineering functions, including support for RPF/RFQ/RFIs
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and emerging IoT industry trends
- Define the baseline and target for costefficiency targets, including resources and people.
- Support and influence location strategy and insourcing / outsourcing steps to deliver platform engineering goals

- Support KTLO portfolio management,ensuring goals are delivered in time &form – this implies leading prioritization decisions in internal engineering and external forums.
Who you are
- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, a related field, or
equivalent work experience. - Ten or more years of experience in Engineering or Operational functions.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting,and leading talent.
- Strong talent management skills including talent development, coaching, mentoring, and team motivation, for geographically distributed teams.
- Strong leadership capability with proven track record of successful crossteams development and working effectively with all organizational levels
- Ability to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment
- Strong ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships at all levels of the organization.
- Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs, including the ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype
- Strong business acumen and ability to understandand drive business objectives
- Expertise in Budget planning, financial management and workforce management.
- Ability to improve operational efficiency, service delivery and information management across the organization.
- Expertise in strategic planning, governance formulation, and organizational change management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills, including an ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources
