About the role

Would you like to be part of our new adventure? Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions. Come and join us to create the future together!
 

As a Test Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind verifying and validating products and innovative environments in our Enterprise MPN product and solution lab. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the integrity and functionality of our products, from development to deployment, working closely with diverse high-performing teams in agile methodologies. You'll have the crucial task of identifying defects, risks, and dependencies, as well as proactively working with stakeholders to resolve and mitigate any issues. Your experience in the telecommunications industry, along with your knowledge in mobile networks, infrastructure, and security, will be critical to success in this role. Additionally, your ability to design robust testing strategies, execute comprehensive test plans, and generate clear reports on quality status will ensure our projects move forward efficiently and accurately. In summary, you'll be the guardian of quality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring our products meet and exceed customer expectations at all times.

 

What you bring: 

  • Quality Assurance & Test Management/Delivery in Software or Telecom industry, industrial applications or similar.
  • Experience in Infrastructure testing on physical labs with equipment such as servers, firewalls, routers & switches.
  • Experience in Network/Security such as Server Management, Linux basics, Comfortable using CLI & Shell commands, Network tools: Wireshark, nmap, or other tools & Performance tools: Ixia, Smartbits.
  • Experience in Scaled agile framework (SAFe) or other Agile methodologies. SAFe/Agile tools: Jira, Confluence.
