Are you passionate about learning the latest cloud technologies and automation? Do you have rich depth and breadth of cloud integration experience? Do you enjoy working in an agile collaborative environment? If so, you are the DevSecOps we are looking for!
You will be part of a dynamic team, designing and creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules using the latest CI/CD practices.  Reporting to the Platform Engineering Manager, this is a crucial role in the ongoing development and support of our Products and Platform Engineering teams. Participating in the complete agile SDLC, the DevSecOps will collaborate with the infrastructure, development and test engineering teams on solutions and platforms, responsible for configuring cloud hyperscalers and components of those environments to integrate with platforms and applications, writing infrastructure as a code using different scripting approaches. The DevSecOps will enable Vodafone to quickly onboard solution providers, supporting the industrialisation process, identify and troubleshoot issues with vendors and different teams to enable project delivery, and be the catalyst and driver of cloud technologies for Vodafone’s IoT business. 
 

What you bring: 
 

  • Excellent knowledge of CI/CD and IaC tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Ansible, Terraform, etc)
  • Comprehensive Linux sysadmin experience, including use of modern web, SQL/NoSQL database and container orchestration technologies (i.e. Kubernetes)
  • Programming experience using Python as scripting language.
  • Extensive experience with cloud hyperscalers and infrastructure best practices.
  • Hands on configuration and administration experience with Kafka, MongoDb, PostgreSQL, Camunda technologies.
  • AWS or Azure certifications are highly desirable.
