About the role

Would you like to be part of our new adventure in Malaga? Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, Mobile Private Networks (MPN), Industry 4.0, MEC and Unified Communications for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions. Come and join us to create the future together! 

 

We are looking for a Network/IP Engineer with solid background designing and implementing End to End network platform:

  • Design and implement the IP End to End architecture aligned with MPN product architecture.
  • Provide HLDs, LLDs and define network templates.
  • Automation First. Modularize and industrialize configuration items and their implementation to reuse the solution.
  • Experiment, Design and configure Firewalls and Switchs in a hybrid environment.
  • Align IP Design with Vodafone Security guidelines.
  • Configure, document and design MPN Lab end to end ip design.
  • Design comms matrix to interface with multiple networks.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design networking solution.
  • You work on an autonomous and horizontal team, where your decisions will be part of the product! 
  • Apply if you have
  • Experience in Firewall / Switch Design and configuration. Fortinet (Fortigate, Fortiswitch, Fortimanager), Cisco, Palo Alto or F5 components.
  • Experience in Cisco Routers or similar.
  • Experience in IP design and implementation.
  • Experience in VLAN, VRFs, BGP or similar protocols.
  • Expert Knowledge in networks (TCP/IP, Protocols, Structures, Hardware, Security).
  • Expert Knowledge in the area of the installation and configuration of network components (Routers, Switches, VPN, Gateways, Firewalls, Proxies, load balancers, DHCP servers, and others).
  • Expert Knowledge in routing protocols, VOIP technology, WLAN technology, DHCP, DNS, AD.
  • Expert Knowledge in network management and network analysis.


Nice to have

  • Automation first. Configure elements via script, CLI or API.
  • Exposure to mobile networks or OSS Engineer.
  • Experience with implementation and support of Cloud based networking including security considerations.
  • Good experience/knowledge of Edge Cloud based solutions (Azure or AWS product family). 
  • CCNA certification.
