What you’ll do

Vodafone is driving forward its strategy to transform from a traditional telecommunications company to a new generation connectivity and digital services provider of scale across Europe and Africa. Vodafone’s focus is to build in-house new, scaled platforms/services and, by 2025, more than 50% of all employees within Vodafone Technology will work in software engineering.
Our purpose in Home, Technology & Products, HT&P, is to design and implement Vodafone Consumer products in fixed and mobile devices like messaging, call services, securing home and mobile networks and providing the same user experience across all devices regardless the network or place.
The Software Practice DevSecOps Engineer supports the Development Teams throughout the development, testing, and go-live phase. This includes functional and technical analysis and specification, understanding of platform-specific infrastructure, architecture and integration aligned with Vodafone Security Standards/Guidelines as well as supporting teams with CICD.

Who you are

  • Knowledge and experience of working in agile Teams (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of software development and deployment process and methodologies with preferably experience in several areas of software development lifecycle (analysis, development, testing, operation).
  • Experience with cloud-based hosting and deployment.
  • Self-motivated individual with good organisational, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
