Role Purpose

To drive an effective Governance in Group Networks Architecture and Business support for the network leadership team. To deliver strategic Vendor Management by driving vendors in delivering roadmap improvements and related actions agreed at top governance level.

 

The role is exposed to leaders in Group Networks and implies regular engagement with stakeholders from all Networks teams and other Group domains to deliver their goals.

What you’ll do

  • To drive Governance by organising the committees (ie Network Leadership Team Meeting, Technology Leadership Team, Group CTO Office, ExCo) including agenda items, minutes, action points follow up, etc.
  • To manage the NSA budget ensuring its execution.  Centralised NSA demand for SAB approvals. Execution and planning report delivery with VOIS and Group Finance.
  • To deliver strategic Vendor Management by driving vendors in delivering roadmap improvements and related actions agreed at top governance level. 
  • To produce executive high quality executive reports for Technology directors (eg. Vendors briefings, improvement plans), to keep updated the Network programmes dashboards.

  • Quality of reporting and briefings
  • Executive Programme dashboards
  • NPS Network

Who you are

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an Operator Technology Networks Function
  •  Strong technical expertise in Network Architectures for 5G, Virtualisation, Cloud Networking. Experience in vendor management in the technology domain.
  • Ability to understand and communicate strategic issues at Board/Director level
  • Previous experience in creating and driving innovation, both throughout own team as well as supplier community and Innovation Centres where applicable is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills – able to understand and interact in both business and technical languages
  • Ability to understand complex concepts from any domain and translate them into understandable language for the management.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Degree qualification and minimum 3+ years experience in a Technology function
  • Basic knowledge of Network architecture elements
  • Excellent in English language – both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate clearly
  • Proven experience on managing programs and reporting.
  • Ability to deliver Business cases and TCO models for new products and technologies.
  • Software Engineering skills
  • Project management and Finance skills
  • Good Powerpoint skills.
