Role Purpose

Senior Specialist for the management of IoT both at the network and application level within the Technology team. In a scenario with multiple suppliers, technologies and partners will be a key figure to evaluate all aspects of the IoT service, both with local and global network and the application part. The candidate will ensure that the design concepts of the new releases meet the management standards and will be responsible for in-life management.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership


• Collaborate with project teams in order to deliver consistent service model on the deployed solution

• Collaborate with project teams in order to set up correct alarm threshold on local and VF Group monitoring platforms

• In life IoT platform management in terms of incident, CR and SR requested by the Customer

• Log Analysis on IoT solutions

• Alerts IoT customers to proactive incidents highlighted by Vodafone tools and keeps customer solution documentation up to date.
 

Key performance indicators

•    Candidate will share main teams KPIs regarding service assurance
•    He/she will be responsible for top IoT customer management and will by evaluate considering customer satisfaction index (NPS). 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

• Specific competences in IoT and related applications applied to such services and experience in IoT service management
• Strong knowledge of the business customer approach to interaction by application in IoT
• Flexible and open attitude towards innovative services and new technologies

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• Proven experience on IoT services and related applications, consistent seniority level in order to independently manage major stakeholders and be fully responsible for setting standards foreseen by Vodafone Technology solutions
• Proven experience in technology environments and IoT service release
• Basic knowledge of network elements and protocols
• Basic knowledge of network/hosting/firewall technologies

• Academic Background: Engineering Degree
• Tenure/Years of experience: 5
