Location:  Swindon + *Hybrid + travel to additional Data Centres UK wide
Salary:  Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours:  Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fr

What you’ll do

The Data Centre Capacity Authority’s prime responsibility is to ensure optimal management of all aspects of Vodafone UK Data Centres capacity demand and planning, with particular emphasis on creating space and capacity for Enterprise Business Cloud and Hosting customers. 

 

  • You will manage and own Data Centre space and power allocation.
  • You will look to optimise space and energy consumption within Vodafone UK Data Centers.
  • You will support design of VF UK IT/Technology solutions, from Data Centre capacity aspects (bandwidth, power, space)
  • You will share trend analysis and forecast reporting with peers and your manager.

 

Who you are  
 

  • You will have proven expertise of managing infrastructure capacity demand within telecoms and/or IT industry.
  • You will have an understanding of modern infrastructure technologies, compliance and certification aspects
  • You will showcase knowledge of telecoms products & services.
  • You will demonstrate a knowledge of Cloud technologies.
  • You will have the capability to understand and influence solution design, in order to ensure optimised energy aspects.
