What you’ll do

  • Networks lead for Spectrum auction tactics and support for all markets across Group
  • Manages delivery of auction simulation and tracking tools - from external supplier and/or in-market resources - based on individual auction rules
  • Leads in arranging mock auctions with bid teams; participating in mocks as auctioneer or bidder; summarising results (especially noting mistakes to avoid) and developing bid tactics accordingly
  • Networks lead for input into spectrum consultations, discussions with regulators and representation at relevant national/international policy and regulatory meetings
  • Leads on developing key new Network strategies for Vodafone in particular with a focus on spectrum and radio
  • Key player influencing Vodafone’s overall technology strategy
  • Aligns & communicates strategies with senior stakeholders across the business and industry partners
  • Leads in supporting cost model and business case development 

Who you are

  • Expert in Radio, Radio Spectrum, Spectrum Auctions & Spectrum Regulation
  • Previous experience in defining Spectrum auction tactics and developing supporting tool’s highly desirable
  • Previous experience working in international spectrum policy & regulation with regulators & industry bodies such as GSMA highly desirable
  • Previous experience in strategy development in an operator environment or vendor highly desirable 
  • Good overall telecoms networks knowledge and insight
  • Excellent analytical skill & ability to clearly communicate at very senior levels (CEO level)
  • Highly motivated, with ability to drive strategic projects across diverse teams
  • Able to work well within a multinational, multicultural environment. 
  • Great team player always customer focused
