Location: Newbury + *Hybrid

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do

This role leads the Business Engagement & Strategy function within Network Quality, CX and Insights (NQCXI) team. It acts as the interface between the network organization and key commercial stakeholders, related to present network performance, ensuring business priorities are translated into actionable network strategies. The role drives cross-functional alignment, project and tools delivery across the NQCXI portfolio.  

 

  • Act as the primary network ambassador to COPS, CBU, EBU, and MVNOs on BAU topics including customer experience, marketing claims, and network performance insights. Engagement should enable business and brand teams to communicate positive network messages, backed by data, directly to the customers via below the line (e.g. texts, mails) and above the line marketing campaigns (e.g. TV commercials, billboards..)
  • Maintain a deep, real-time understanding of business priorities across all customer-facing units. Understanding the commercial aspect short-term is crucial.
  • Examples are cost of customer complaints, risk of losing big Enterprise customer, cost of customer contact, revenue opportunity of marketing claims (e.g. London’s
  • Best Network)…  Translate commercial and operational priorities into actionable strategies for NQCXI and the wider network organisation.  
  • Lead cross-functional programme and project management for NQCXI initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.  
  • Develop and maintain tools and frameworks that support NQCXI activities, like benchmarking, customer experience modelling, and performance diagnostics.  
  • Ensure continuous feedback loops between business units and network teams to make sure that network teams understand how they support the business and how they can drive proactive quality improvements where it matters the most.   
  • Support the development of strategic plans and investment cases that align network performance with commercial goals.  
  • Drive innovation in how network quality insights are communicated and actioned across the business.  

 

Who you are   

 

  • Strong background in telecoms, ideally with experience in both commercial and network-facing roles.  
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and influence cross-functional teams.  
  • Experience in programme management and strategic planning.  
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business impact.  
  • Familiarity with network performance metrics and their impact on customer experience and commercial outcomes.  
  • Experience in developing tools and frameworks that support business decision-making.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.  
  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional programmes with multiple stakeholders.
