The Network Infrastructure Team are responsible with designing Fixed Enterprise customer solutions in support of the product portfolio, as well as ensuring there is optimal physical infrastructure capacity to meet business and customer demand across the Vodafone 3rd Party co location estate. The role holder will also support the wider Site Management team by performing site audits & surveys in the UK core network & BT estate.

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Complete Customer Design Documentation to support the delivery of Vodafone Fixed Line Enterprise customer orders

 

  • Ensure all work completed on Order Management systems and Inventory systems is complete and correct for all orders

 

  • Manage workload to agreed SLA targets
  • Delivery of all Vodafone network customer circuits using both corporate and industry standard systems and inventories, utilising optimal solutions and cost effective methods of delivery. Manage VF sales rules

 

  • Capacity Management of Vodafone 3rd Party network estate. Manage space and power allocation for internal & external customers. Ensure sufficient capacity to fulfil demand

 

  • Data Integrity of the Vodafone network estate at Vodafone & partner network sites

 

  • Provide sales opportunity design & bid support to internal & external customers on Vodafone customer solutions

 

  • The may role will require travel up to 50% of the time. 

Who you are

 

  • Experience in a telecommunications environment.  An understanding of Vodafone Products and Processes used within Fixed Line Networking, Access Implementation, NDI & Vodafone is key

 

  • Good clear and concise communications skills required to all levels including external customers

 

  • Ability to coach less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge and experience

 

  • Able to work on multiple demand workstreams and tasks simultaneously with the ability to take on new tasks at short notice

 

  • Ability to use Microsoft Offices packages to a good level (Inc. Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Visio
