What you’ll do

  • Creating specialised visuals from various data sources to enable data-led decisions 

  • Automating report output and administering report distribution tooling wherever possible (especially via Power BI dashboards, back-end ingestion or integration scripts, json files, Sharepoint sites, etc) 

  • Supporting other Cyber Defence teams with their reporting or report automation requirements 

  • Coordination tasks that support multiple Cyber Defence delivery workstreams 

  • Mentoring and guiding other team members in reporting systems and best practice 

  • Potential to assist in cyber incidents via support activities 

Who you are

  • Experience of working within cyber security OR related industry OR equivalent qualifications 
  • Experience of creating advanced PowerBI dashboards drawing from multiple data sources, creating specialised visuals, and enabling functionality such as drill-down, custom functions, bespoke extracts, DAX, macros, JSON etc 
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining report distribution sites (especially Sharepoint administration and page/site creation with advanced back-end functions)  
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge 
  • Experience of creating dynamic reporting templates to be distributed to users 
  • Great organisation and time-management skills 
  • Great verbal and written communication skills, able to receive and decipher reporting requirements from stakeholders, and impart information to others 
  • A willingness to continue development, and knowledge-share with other members of the team 
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines 
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Global Cyber Defence is an exciting and fulfilling place to work.  As a team we deliver valuable support services to technical subject matter experts across the wider Cyber Security division.  This includes managing global comms on cyber subjects, contributing to mitigating security vulnerabilities, working with our team of ethical hackers, and providing reporting on behalf of the whole of Cyber Defence.  Our team plays a fundamental role in the operational model of Cyber Defence, who in turn are actively responsible for protecting Vodafone and our customers.
