Job description


§ 6-9 years of experience in software testing, Telecom products, BSS, Siebel CRM, Web Portal/Online products (websites etc.) with at least ISTQB foundation certified.
§ SAFE agile certified practioner
§ Experience of System, Integration and Regression testing of Telco systems with complex user interfaces.
§ Good Experience in test case designing and execution
§ Experience with test tool JIRA
§ Good knowledge on different testing lifecycles; both waterfall and agile
§ Familiar with functional and non functional testing concepts.
§ Well aware of the Defect management process and Tools.
§ Basic SQL skills.
§ Knowledge on the Middleware and interfaces.
Experience
§ Understand business requirements and able to generate test specification
§ Execute the tests and produce results and able to identify bugs and deliver quality work to next stage
§ Involved in all agile ceramonies like PI planning, retrospect, scrum meetings
§ Able to provide correct estimations
§ Provide the daily / cycle and activities status, monitoring and reporting progress against the plan
§ Able to guide team members and help
Responsibilities
§ Provide the daily / cycle and activities status, monitoring and reporting progress against the plan
§ Able to guide team members and help with test specification reviews.
§ Use the Test Tools to deliver the tested components, platforms and applications to meet the test specification.
§ Deliver Functional Business Quality Assurance including System, Integration, Regression testing as well as data migration
§ Execute alternative Business Quality Assurance approaches depending on the SDLC methodology (waterfall, agile)
§ Produce all Business Quality Assurance deliverables in conformance with industry standards.
§ Identifies improvements to the Business Quality Assurance process and assists in their implementation.
§ Ensure defects are identified, captured and resolved using the agreed the Defect Management process
