We're on the lookout for someone who truly loves technology, has a knack for building top-notch cloud solutions, and loves to take on a challenge. Vodafone Business is confidently expanding its cloud services, including Azure, to meet the growing needs of its B2B customers.

You'll have a key role in designing and optimizing cloud solutions that runs like a dream – fast, secure, and reliable. You'll get to work with some amazing folks from different parts of the company, like DevOps and product teams, and you'll be doing something truly amazing together.

This role will expand into Cloud Architect & Engineering Lead role in future.

Czech language is needed.

What will you do?

  • Infrastructure Architecture for projects: Responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure solutions for projects and business needs in accordance with VFCZ & Group standards and procedures.
  • Manage Technical Strategies: Develop and lead the long-term technical design, architecture and implementation of Vodafone services and roadmap on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.
  • Planning & Implementation capability: Support knowledge management by creating, maintaining, and improving documentation such as solution design documents (HLD, LLD), knowledge articles, Wikis, and other artifacts. Lifecycle management of all Azure infrastructure. Evaluation of tools and applications to manage/monitor Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure.
  • Design & Implement Processes: Responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure processes such as Azure Cloud service requests, capacity management.
  • Manage technical terms & conditions contracts: Ensure that technical terms and conditions of Azure Cloud management, maintenance and professional services contracts are created and kept up to date.
  • Infrastructure Efficiency: Monitor resource utilization rates, look for potential bottlenecks, efficiency and savings potential. identify and implement improvement points.

What knowledge and skills do we expect?

  • You’ve got cloud tech nailed, with years of experience that’s made you unshakeable.
  • Hands on experience of Microsoft Azure? Awesome. Certifications AZ-104 is a must and AZ-305 is preferred.
  • You get networks, security, and system administration – you see the bigger picture.
  • Automation is your middle name – MS Azure Automation is preferred. Desirable experience with Ansible, Terraform or any similar.
  • Experience with architecting of the AWS, GCP or private cloud solutions is advantage.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions.
  • You’re passionate about technology, eager to learn, and always one step ahead.
  • You are not scared to meet our clients face to face. Czech language is needed.
