Your role will be instrumental in shaping and deploying state-of-the-art security measures. You'll work together with our business, IT, and Network teams, becoming their trusted ally in creating a secure and resilient digital ecosystem

What you’ll do

  • Become a trusted Security partner for business, IT, and Network teams, fostering cooperation and strengthening relationships with key peers.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact for relevant security projects and activities.
  • Continuous cooperation with involved business, IT & Network departments throughout the duration of the projects.
  • Participate in innovative initiatives.
  • Coordinates and work closely with different project teams to ensure security controls and procedures are understood and successfully implemented and actively monitored
  • Assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and procedures and identifies potential opportunities for process improvements
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on projects, conducting and executing security reviews, defining and evaluating project proposals following a Secure-by-Design approach.
  • Designs and implements Group Cyber strategy, by liaising with central teams and onboarding Vodafone CZ in standard security solutions.
  • Understanding and contribution on business-as-usual reviews and approvals related to security areas like: Zero Trust, Firewalls, VPNs, AI, Data Leakage Prevention, WAFs, Operating Systems, Cloud environment, Network Access,, Remote access, Cryptography.

What skills we need

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity

  • Deep understanding of the latest cybersecurity technologies, practices, and frameworks
  • Focused on the timely delivery of results
  • Team player with a broader Cybersecurity community, linking point with group Cybersecurity function.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST frameworks.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and architectures, with a strong grasp of cloud security, network security, and data security solutions.
  • High-level analytical skills to assess security systems, foresee potential vulnerabilities, and devise strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Understanding of networking protocols
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is must, Czech is an advantage), capable of clearly explaining complex security risks and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical audiences
