Short Description

What you’ll do

  • The manager of the team is accountable for the system engineering of telemetry and troubleshooting tools for all access technologies (DSL, fibre, cable, mobile) to collect, aggregate and forward data to data lakes or GUIs used by Customer Fulilment, Customer Operations and Network Operations to identify bottlenecks and issues for customer services in the Vodafone Network. The team is accountable to provide these services in all markets in the NSE scope.

  • Analyse the business’s requirements and technical trends for Network Data Management and Analysis / Reporting systems in the market and define the application’s evolution roadmap
  • The manager of the team is accountable to define and evolve the standardized interface for collection of diagnostic and telemetry data in collaboration with our Wholesale partners.

  • The manager of the team is accountable for the system lifecycle within the technical area and ensures security and lcm policy compliance.

  • The manager of the team is accountable to define the worksplit, FTE, budget and workforce planning to be able to fulfil all demands and requirements from CBU, EBU, Customer Fulfilment, VNO and other Vodafone units.

  • The manager of the team is accountable to define and evolve the standardized interface for collection of diagnostic and telemetry data in collaboration with our Wholesale partners.

Skills we need

  • Professional experience in Telecommunications or IT engineering. Multi-cultural / multinational experience desirable.
  • Excellent know how of network access technologies (DSL, fibre, cable, mobile)

  • Excellent knowledge in methods of IT- & Software Engineering, SAFe/agile, Project & Lifecycle Management and IT Standards e.g. ITIL, ETOM etc.

  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written

  • Ability to give orientation to the team, to prioritise and to reduce complexity

  • Strong cost and performance orientation

  • Very strong communication skills to manage and influence relevant stakeholders in all markets and on Group level

  • Ability to work across functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and to drive change
