What you’ll do

  • Accountable for design, development and deployment of systems and complex and versatile solutions across the European markets and Group functions in line with business needs and the domain's and vertical's strategy.
  • Accountable to manage the entire Lifecycle of the systems and solutions in area of accountability, including Identification of technical synergy potentials and derivation of recommendations for action.
  • Analyses and evaluates the business requirements in accordance with the Demand Management Process and translates into them into Solution Designs.
  • Development of technical concepts for complex challenges and creation of decision tempates for domain and cross domain management bodies.
  • Leads project and program teams with more than 10 people in a matrix organisation.
  • Selects and coordinates suppliers for the design, development and implementation phase in accordance to the Delivery Management Process.
  • Evaluates and designs concepts to modernise, harmonise and consolidate systems across the markets and actively promotes reuse of strategic solutions to drive efficiency gain and cost reduction.

Skills we need

  • Engineering degree (Bachelor / Master) in telecommunications or computer science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years professional experience in telecommunication or IT
  • Very Good Knowledge of IT standards (i,e, ITIL, ETOM), project management methodologies (e.g. Prince2) and Agile working methods (i.e. Scrum, Design Thinking). Certifications desirable.
  • Very good knowledge of NW and NW Management protocols (i.e. IP, SNMP, TR-069, DOCSIS)
  • Very good knowledge of Software architecture and Software design principles including AWS or similar cloud technologies
  • Good knowledge of Software virtualization techniques and platforms (i.e. VMWare, Kybernetes, Docker)
