Job Description

  • Knowledge of Database Administration and Architecture
  • DBA, AWS,Infra,Cloud,12C/19C,Migration of On-Premises 11g/12c Database to OCI/AWS 19C Database
  • Knowledge of database Provisioning, access control, maintenance, monitoring, high availability
  • Knowledge of AWS RDS/EC2 backup/restore, point in time recovery.
  • Knowledge of data migration within Cloud and patching,
  • Administered Production Databases & have knowledge of different Oracle versions from 12c 19c AWS RDS & OCI
  • Knowledge of Designing schema, access patterns, locking strategy, SQL development, and tuning
  • Should have knowledge of database migration from legacy to Cloud_AWS/OCI
  • Should have knowledge of upgrade from older to latest oracle versions.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Manager RAC Performance Tuning Database Development
  • Should have knowledge of Active-Passive Cluster, knowledge for Database upgrade, Migration and perform production checks.

What you’ll do

The IT Operations Specialist focuses upon activities that help to identify and manage the changing customer / business / user needs (regarding IT requirements) and ensure customer satisfaction with Vodafones IT products and services in line with the Customer Service Management strategy. Providing technical advice and administration across the IT lifecycle for all end-users. The IT Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in IT operations including administration and maintenance of assigned applications, services, systems and solutions, incident management, problem management, change and release management and vendor management, to drive improvements through innovation, best practice techniques, and collaboration. Typically reports to the IT Operations Manager.
