About this Role

As an Assistant Manager for Data Centre Network (L2), you will be responsible for managing and supporting network infrastructure within data centres. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of network systems, contributing to seamless business operations.

What you will do

  • Manage and monitor data centre network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Implement network changes and upgrades following best practices and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and incident resolutions.

What skills you need

  • Proficiency in network technologies such as routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Hands-on experience with data centre network equipment and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ITIL processes.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
