Job Role & Skills

Skill Sets

  • In depth Knowledge of PDH SDH/SONET, Ethernet and DWDM.
  • Should have proper understanding of Transmission related alarms.
  • Should have proper understanding of optical fiber netwrok.
  • Should be able to Troubleshot related to alarms technology and type.
  • Should have hands on experience on few of the products & platforms mentioned below,
  • Should have knowledge of testing equipment’s like OTDR , RTU, BERT etc.
  • Should have worked on NMS/EMS
  • Should have hands on experience on monitoring tool, ticketing system, citrix, RDP, 
  • Should have basic knowledge of IP Network
  • Knowledge on Change management, should have raised and executed the network changes
  • Follow the use of common processes.
  • Ability to remain calm when working to demanding timescales and deadlines.
