About this Role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and deliver security programme workstreams across a complex, multi-country environment. This individual contributor role is based in India (Pune or Bangalore) and operates on UK shifts. The successful candidate will manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to BAU transition, collaborating with internal teams, third-party vendors, and external stakeholders. The role demands strong project management capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation and compliance.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects and programmes
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate financial approvals and track budgets
- Produce timely and relevant reports for stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with security standards
- Oversee transition of projects into BAU
- Respond to compliance requests and support security assessments
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders across geographies
- Monitor and manage full lifecycle of cybersecurity initiatives
Who you are
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years in project or programme management
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, including senior and board-level interactions
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in managing transformation projects is desirable
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) or willingness to learn
- Relevant certifications in project management are advantageous
