About this Role

We are seeking an experienced OSS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions within the OSS domain. This role involves working on strategic projects, collaborating with suppliers and partners, and ensuring system performance, security, and scalability. The position is based in Pune or UK and offers opportunities to work on advanced technologies such as AWS/GCP, Agile methodologies, and automation tools.

What you will do

  • Design and support infrastructure setups across VMware, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), OpenStack, and NFV environments.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Apply best-practice access control and compliance principles across multi-cloud environments.
  • Manage AWS IAM roles and permissions for Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, RDS, and additional services.
  • Troubleshoot access issues and process role update requests across multiple environments.
  • Work with Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop, improve, and automate build, release, and deployment processes.
  • Oversee certificate management access and ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Implement and support monitoring, alerting, and logging systems such as Grafana to ensure high service availability.

Who you are

  • Experienced in designing multi-layered infrastructure across VMware, AWS, GCP, OpenStack, and NFV.
  • Skilled in Python programming with practical development experience.
  • Knowledgeable about access control models, compliance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
  • Proficient in AWS IAM administration and familiar with permissions across Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, and RDS.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiar with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms such as Grafana.
