About this Role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GCP) to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves creating automated processes for landing zones using Terraform and Python, ensuring robust and efficient cloud solutions.

Who are you

  • A professional with 5–8 years of experience in cloud technologies, specialising in GCP.
  • Skilled in designing and deploying cloud infrastructure with a strong understanding of networking, security, and automation.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent communicator with strong documentation skills.

What you’ll do

  • Manage integration projects and day-to-day administration of GCP cloud solutions.
  • Design and build modules and solutions for cloud platforms in an agile environment.
  • Develop prototypes and optimise business outcomes through iterative development.
  • Conduct peer reviews and maintain coding standards.
  • Automate cloud solution deployment and integration activities.
  • Build and deploy GCP infrastructure using Terraform and scripting tools (Shell/Python).
  • Provide technical consultancy for migrating on-premises applications to GCP.
  • Design and deploy secure network connectivity between GCP and data centres.

What skills you need

  • Expertise in GCP services such as VPC, Compute, GCS, Cloud Run, Load Balancing, IAM.
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Experience in landing zone setup and GCP organisational structures.
  • Scripting skills in Shell and Python.
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field.
