About this role
We are seeking a Continuous Testing Solution Owner to lead the design and delivery of a world-class test automation ecosystem within the Continuous Software Delivery function. Based in Pune, this role will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and strategy for continuous testing across VOIS, working closely with technical architects, product owners, and service line stakeholders. The individual will act as a subject matter expert, driving innovation, ensuring compliance with Vodafone’s technical and security standards, and influencing global testing practices.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement integrated test automation solutions aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define and maintain the Continuous Testing Architecture Roadmap.
- Own and manage solution design artefacts to support scalable service line growth.
- Conduct tool assessments and pilot cloud-based solutions to inform enterprise-wide architecture.
- Provide expert consultancy on testing tools and techniques including ALM, Selenium, Appium, Tosca, and service virtualisation.
- Engage with vendor teams to influence technology roadmaps based on real-world implementation feedback.
- Contribute to the VOIS Architecture vision and strategy alongside senior leadership.
- Support local markets and delivery managers in developing business cases.
- Create and review technical documentation and design artefacts.
- Promote standardised, modular test patterns across testing teams.
Who you are
- Experienced in designing and developing test automation frameworks.
- Knowledgeable in modern testing tools and market trends.
- Skilled in conducting market research and modernising testing technology stacks.
- Capable of navigating complex ecosystems and managing competing priorities.
- Proficient in software development, change management, and configuration practices in Linux environments.
- Familiar with SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experienced with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Exposure to AI, data management, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of test management, API testing, performance testing, and test data management.
- Technically adept in DevOps, CI/CD, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to travel across Vodafone markets and delivery centres.
