Job Responsibilities

 

  • Works as Lead architect for developing in house network automation, analytics and monitoring tool (open source TIG) to be used to collect, digest, consolidate, store and present Firewall log information to increase observability capabilities.
  • Should be able to plan and project timelines milestones for development and define sprints and development requirements for End-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Should be able to articulate and define network use cases to Development Team (front-end/back-end)
  • Develop and maintain network automation scripts and tools using Python, Shell script
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure network performance and reliability.
  • Create and manage dashboards in Grafana to visualize network metrics and performance data.
  • Create and manage web-based dashboards and interfaces using HTML and CSS.
  • Integrate various data sources and ensure accurate and timely data collection using Telegraf, RestAPI python connector and Zabbix etc.
  • Optimize InfluxDB for efficient storage and retrieval of time-series data. Essential to execute Data base modeling
  • Implement and manage data streaming and processing pipelines using Apache Kafka.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to automate network configurations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and manage network automation solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience working with Agile/ Scrum methodologies
  • Work with the Product Owner to define and prioritize the user stories aligned to the capability roadmap.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate network automation with other IT systems.
