Job responsibilities

The Demand Specialist focuses upon the provision of administration and provides good knowledge, working to the technology strategy and aligning the market demands and financial and commercial plans. They work on tasks related to the transformation of business demands, from ideas into defined and agreed Network and/or IT deliverables. The Demand Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in demand and portfolio management activities to deliver the technology strategy. Typically reports to the Senior Demand Manager.

  • Owns delivery of all Projects/Programs requirements under a specified portfolio.
  • Follow Project Management Methodology with Intelligent framework & process excellence.
  • Manage Project/ Programme execution within the agreed budget, time, and quality guidelines.
  • Assesses and reports project deliveries' health with objectivity, accuracy, and transparency
  • Predicts and identifies risks/opportunities from interdependencies of programme deliverables
  • Ensures that appropriate stakeholders are engaged in risk identification and mitigation
  • Ensure agreed PM process/methodology adherence
  • Governance, performance, Risk, Comms Management
  • Support planning and execute customer engagement events
  • Perform Projects Performance Data Analysis and develop/present Reporting/dashboard

Skills

  • Excellent presentation, data analysis and visualization, communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Good understanding of Software engineering and/or IT Operations
  • Good working knowledge of Transition, Project Management and PMO office
  • Experience of managing medium to large Project transitions / PMO / Service delivery into execution
  • Programme/Project Management experience, Key relationship management
