What you’ll do
§ Execute the tests ensuring all results and defects are documented using the test methodology
§ Responsible for the production of all testing deliverables and execution of tests to agreed milestones and quality.
§ Identifies risks associated with the testing and takes preventative action to ensure requirements, quality and timelines are achieved
§ Identify and raise defects using the agreed methodology and tools
§ Supports the transition and delivery of new testing services
§ Liaise with the Test Team Lead to ensure planning and test coverage are correct
§ Ensures quality and accuracy of the test deliverables execution and results are maintained through to software release.
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Who you are
§ Strong technological background, with degree level qualification in Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent
§ Certification in Software testing (or equivalent) as a minimum (ISTQB / Certified Test Analyst)
§ Strong experience in End-to-End Integration Testing, Customer Acceptance Testing and support to User Acceptance testing of Telecom applications
§ Strong experience in software testing of telecom applications - Billing, CRM (Order Management), Provisioning specifically on Amdocs Platform.
§ Experience in preparation of end-to-end test plans, test scripts, test data
§ Strong experience on estimation of test life-cycle management.
§ Experience on test reporting procedures and preparation of dashboards.
§ Experience on risk-based analysis and testing.
§ Strong experience on defect management procedures, liaison with multiple teams (development /environment teams) for effective and speedy resolution of issues
§ Expertise in usage of test/defect management tools – ALM.
§ Knowledge of various testing methodologies and processes (Agile/Waterfall)
