Job Description

Minimum -8+  years’ experience

Location – Pune (hybrid)

  • Strong work experience in Amdocs CRM & OMS.
  • Preferred work experience in Amdocs SOM and AUA.
  • Experience in telecom application support with strong hands-on experience in Unix shell script and SQL is a must.
  • Experience in developing web-based tools or automations using Java/Django/Selenium is an added advantage.
  • Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with thread and heap memory management on JVMs

    Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage P1/P2 issues, design gaps, and major technical discussions with stakeholders like the Application Dev team, project managers, Service Owner, and Vodafone Business team.
  • Responsible for identifying data issues and patching them proactively to reduce ticket inflow, reduce stuck orders, and avoid any service disruption issues.
  • Responsible for reviewing heavy tables, API performance issues, investigating issues due to stuck threads/heap utilization, and providing resolutions by driving them with respective teams such as App Infra, App DBA, and Dev teams.
  • Responsible for supporting 24*7 on-call support for the respective application team.
  • Keeping stakeholders informed about major issues and updates related to the respective application team.
