Job Role

Primary Objectives: 
•Execute or manage major/critical incidents, problems and service requests including implementation of workarounds. Manage operational readiness for existing & newly onboarded solutions.
•Documentation and knowledge sharing: Utilizing Confluence and Jira to document, track, and manage project plans, tasks, and issues and best practices to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and enable other team members to understand and troubleshoot the end-to-end services.
•Create and maintain fail safe environment to achieve ~100% availability. 
•Monitor system performance, analyse trends, and provide recommendations for capacity planning.
•Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and end-user to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support.
•Support in implementation of data security policies, and procedure to safeguard sensitive data information.
•Utilizing data analytics techniques to analyse system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements via status reporting.
•For the services provided, modify, and adapt the software solutions for a better performance and experience offered to the customer.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience

Overall 8 + years of experience of customisation/configuration, installation of Performance management tools.
•Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. Skilled on DevOps practices & hands on experience on Git, Git-CI, Jenkins, Ansible, Elastic search, Kafka, Kibana, Docker.
•Strong knowledge of Google cloud for storage and management of data. Analytics in Power BI to formulate service data. 
•In-depth understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and system administration. Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Bash, Python or perl.
•Depth knowledge of Elastic and Kibana. Understand on how indixes, AE Scheduler, yarn works. 
•Experience in a multinational environment
•Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (both written and spoken)
