About this Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and support Kenan Postpaid Billing systems and associated applications. Based in Pune, this role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and seamless service delivery. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to maintain high-quality billing operations and drive continuous improvement across the billing lifecycle.
What you will do
- Operate and maintain the Kenan Billing System, including configuration, customisation, and operational tasks.
- Manage postpaid billing processes such as CDR flow, rating, bill generation, payments, collections, and journaling.
- Provide functional support for Mediation, Interconnect, and Prepaid systems.
- Monitor system performance, schedule jobs, and implement proactive alerts to minimise production issues.
- Resolve incidents and service requests within SLA using ITIL-based processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and change management.
- Support release planning, deployment, and validation activities.
- Ensure accurate processing of revenue streams and compliance with audit, GDPR, and security standards.
- Document interface flows and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Who you are
- 6–8 years of experience in the Telecom Billing domain, with expertise in Kenan Billing System.
- Proficient in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.
- Functional knowledge of Mediation, Postpaid/Prepaid Billing, and Interconnect applications.
- Familiarity with Control-M, Splunk, and ticketing tools such as Remedy or Jira is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communicator with stakeholder management capabilities.
- Knowledgeable in ITIL standards and service delivery practices.
- Comfortable working in a 24×7 support environment with rotational shifts.
- Able to collaborate within cross-cultural, international teams.
