Roles and Responsibilities
Position Title-Manager-Lead -Automation Testing
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks, libraries, and tools to facilitate automated testing across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Drive the adoption of best practices, standards, and methodologies for test automation development, execution, and reporting, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
- Establish and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing, continuously optimizing test coverage and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate test automation solutions into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless automation across the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work closely with development teams to prioritize and address defects in a timely manner.
- Communicate test automation progress, issues, and recommendations to QA Lead through regular status updates, reports.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level, AWS Certified Developer) is a plus.
- Proven experience in test automation development roles, with a strong track record of successfully implementing and managing test automation initiatives in Agile software development environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful API standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices is highly desirable
