Role Purpose

To plan and deliver cost‑effective IT infrastructure solutions aligned to global IT strategy and standards, ensuring they are supportable, operable, and scalable. Provide delivery support during project development and ensure consistent implementation against quality and process criteria.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

1. Project Delivery Management

  • Manage workload within the Project Delivery & Build team.
  • Ensure high‑quality, updated project information in tracking tools.
  • Initiate and deliver projects in line with Project Delivery Management guidelines.
  • Plan/manage delivery dates and escalate risks/issues as needed.
  • Prioritise workload against team objectives.

2. Technical Implementation (VCI Data Centres)

  • Manage procurement of project hardware/software.
  • Coordinate installation of servers, storage, LAN, security, DB, middleware, and related components.
  • Ensure configuration data is entered into CMDB.
  • Follow change management process for all implementations.
  • Configure backup/restore tools as per VCI service catalogue.
  • Ensure implementation quality and compliance with IT infrastructure standards.

3. Project Management for Service Delivery

  • Lead technical implementation for internal delivery projects.
  • Provide end‑to‑end project management for complex deliveries.
  • Apply PRINCE2 governance including structure, controls, risks, changes, and communication.
  • Implement parameters and functions in monitoring/workflow tools per SLA needs.

4. Operational Readiness & Acceptance (ORA)

  • Secure Operational QA approvals with VT‑IS & OPCO teams.
  • Deliver outcomes to VCI Operations.
  • Ensure deployments match delivery standards.

5. Process Review & Improvement

  • Review internal processes affecting delivery.
  • Recommend and drive process improvements across VCI teams.

Core Competencies, Knowledge & Experience

Strong IT delivery management background in infrastructure implementation.Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Deep knowledge of IT/Data Centre standards; ITIL preferred.Understanding of telecom IT service provisioning.Broad technical knowledge across IT domains.International project/service management experience.Fluency in English.

Must‑Have Qualifications

Strong project management skills.
PRINCE2 (desired).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Timely ordering of components as per iSPEC.
Effective utilisation of resources against delivery plan.
Meeting SLAs/KPIs for technical implementation.
Compliance to internal/external processes and policies.
